Concord Country’s Club short straight-forward finishing hole returns the player to the clubhouse which overlooks the green. There are two fairway bunkers on either side of the fairway which narrow the landing area. Longer hitters will need to make a decision, lay up or try to fly the bunkers and end up with a short uphill pitch to the green. A good tee shot short of the bunkers will leave a short iron to an elevated green that is protected by two deep front bunkers on either side. The two-tiered green can make putting a challenge, but a well placed second shot can lead to a birdie and acknowledgement of a well-played hole by those watching from the lounge that overlooks the green. |
