The second hole is a long par 4 and a good drive
is best played by keeping your shot left of the center of the fairway. The
fairway drops off in both directions in the landing zone making it tough to
keep the ball in the fairway except for the best of tee shots. A long to
mid iron into a green that is slanted from left to right makes it a challenge
to get it close to the hole. Landing in
front of the green is definitely a better strategy as there are steep drop offs
to the right and back of the green.
Walking off this green with a par is an accomplishment. This hole plays
slightly different from the forward tees as they are significantly closer and
set off to the left of the hole. You
will want to keep your tee shot to the right of the fairway for the best view
with your approach shot. |
