One
of the longest par 4s on the course, the eighth hole gives advantage to the
long drivers, but hitting to the left side of the fairway keeps the ball safely
in play as a hard left to right cant of the fairway will roll the ball to the
right rough, even from a middle landing. The long deep green follows a narrow
upslope with a collection area to the left and a deep bunker to the right.
Close inspection of the green will show subtle ridges and crowns, a two-putt
resulting in a par is an excellent result, but most can expect to be happy with
a bogey. |
